How to run a lesson with Padel Rank
Switch to Coach
Tap the Player · Coach switch in the header.
Under «Player» are your leagues and matches; under «Coach», your lessons. It's a PRO feature you use from your phone only. Not PRO yet? Tap See example and explore a demo academy.
Pick the type
Individual (1 student) or Match (4 players).
Individual: you log your student's shots one by one, with no scoreboard. Match: a 2 vs 2 with a scoreboard. Mark what you're training today (serve, volley, bandeja…) and add new students with «+». It's created as training: it doesn't touch ELO, the ranking or the level. Lessons for 2 and 3 are coming soon.
Log shot by shot
The quality of each shot, without missing a beat.
In Individual you pick the shot (smash, volley, víbora, bandeja or lob) and tap its quality: Perfect shot, Improvable or Poorly hit. In Match you log by voice or touch who wins the point and with which shot (winner, pressure or error), in 6 languages.
Wrap up and share
The report is generated for you.
When you finish you get the report per student with a Performance Score, shot map and progress. You export a stamped PDF and send it to the student.
The shot plan
Every point, classified
When you log a point you can say which shot won or lost it. Those shots feed the report's shot map and each student's weapon and focus. The five padel shots:
Smash
The attacking shot to close out the point.
Volley
The net shot, forehand or backhand.
Víbora
The aggressive shot with side spin.
Bandeja
The control shot to hold the net.
Lob
The defensive shot to win back the net.
Individual lesson
The quality of each shot
In an individual lesson there's no scoreboard and no opponent: what you measure is how well your student hits each ball. So instead of «winner/pressure/error», you rate the shot quality with three clear buttons:
Perfect shot
Well resolved, like a point won.
Improvable
It goes in, but with execution flaws.
Poorly hit
Error: the ball is lost.
The student profile
Their progress, lesson by lesson
Each student has their own profile: their Performance Score, the progress curve across all their lessons and the next goal to work on. That's what keeps them coming back — they see, lesson by lesson, that they're improving.
Don't worry
What Coach Mode does NOT touch
- Training matches don't affect ELO or the league ranking.
- They don't count toward your students' competitive level (0–10) either.
- They're marked as Training in the history, so they're never confused with league matches.
- They do generate stats: each student's shot map and progress.
