That way you don't have to take the phone out every time you win a point. And the watch notes things you can't write down by hand, like your heart rate.
PRO onlyIf you have a Galaxy Watch 4 or newer (5, 6, 7…), it works. If it's the 3 or older, it can't. Not sure which one you have? Check the box, or look in the watch app on your phone. With an iPhone, any Apple Watch works.
On the watch, open the Play Store, type Padel Rank and install it. It's a different app from the phone one, even though it has the same name. With Apple Watch, install it from the Watch app on your iPhone.
You don't have to connect anything or type any code. The watch and the phone sort it out between them, as long as you have both with you.
On the phone, open the match and tap Open scoreboard. Look at your watch: the score is already there. Put the phone in your bag.
Every time you win a point, tap it on the watch. That's all.
And if you'd rather say it out loud, tap the microphone button and speak:
• “point Ana” — Ana won the point.
• “Ana miss” — Ana made the mistake, the point goes to the others.
• “pressure Ana” — Ana pushed so hard the other one missed. The point is hers.
A tip: short names get it right almost every time. “Ana” is understood straight away; “María Fernanda” is much harder. You can shorten them in the Players tab.
While you play, it counts how many times you hit the ball and what your heart rate is. There's no way to write that down by hand. And the Points ranking screen, the one that's empty now, fills up on its own.
The live scoreboard — on the phone and on the watch — is a PRO feature, as are heart rate, shots and the Points ranking. On Apple Watch you score by tapping; talking to it only works on Android watches and on the phone. Got a tablet lying around? Put it on the fence and everyone sees the score in big while you play: court display.
